The restaurant is a beautifully remodeled barn house with a huge deck and a sprawling front yard that makes you feel like you are hanging out at your best friend’s house. The trees and attractive landscaping are dotted with a number of sitting and lounging areas stocked with
all ages enjoy cornhole, connect-four, and big Jenga games.
The peaceful yet exciting and fun atmosphere is a perfect setting for a family or a group of friends to get out and enjoy the outdoors while enjoying good food and drinks.
It was quite difficult to decide what to order because everything served around us looked so damn good! The Crispy Cauliflower (balls) is an apparent favorite since everyone seemed to have it. And if they skipped those, they probably had one of the beautiful ‘Boards,’ a charcuterie board piled high with an incredible amount of tasty things.
I ended up feeling like a burger and opted for the Barn Classic Burger, and I was not disappointed. It was a delicious, juicy Angus burger with uniquely cut ‘pig tail’ fries, essentially a french fry with a narrowed end to crunch like a potato chip. These were perfectly cooked and very tasty!
Pro tip: if you order the Prickly Pear Margarita, upgrade to that ‘goblet’ (see pic) size for just $4 extra! So good (and pretty strong)!
The Barnyard is also a great place to end your far-eastside hike or bike outing. You can cool off under the shade trees and warm down with a leisurely game of cornhole while waiting to replenish those carbs.
I highly recommend this place for a fun, outdoor, relaxing get-together with friends. The setting is perfect, the margaritas are great, and the food won’t disappoint!
